Ash Dieback – Things to know!

So you may of heard of Ash Dieback (ADB). This is being compared to the 70’s with Dutch Elm Disease. It’s definitely not at them levels yet but slowly the progression of infected Ash from the South West up the country is getting worse.

Fear not, although there is no known cure for ADB there defiantly are measures you can take to improve tree vigour which will help protect your tree from infection or at least give the tree a better immunity to deal with it.

The pictured guidance is being developed by the Arboricultural Association to give tree owners and contractors a better understanding of ADB management. if you are unsure, or would like more advise, please do contact us and we will be pleased to help

We have used Evoke for our tree work for several years. As always, a very well-done job from start to finish, including the initial visit and obtaining the appropriate permissions from the WHC. All the trees were pruned as requested to a very good shape and the site was cleared of all rubbish.

Good service, provided by nice staff. The team handled the application process required for the removal of a number of very large lleyandii, plus the removal and stump grinding. Even dealing with having to work around a large amount of waste material and old fencing from previous owners.
